• Press and hold the power button until the device turns on.
• Wait for the scanner’s operating system to load.

NOTE: It is important that the your device is connected to WIFI!

• On the scanner’s home screen, you will see a series of icons or a menu bar.
• Locate and select the “Settings” icon (usually represented by a cogwheel).

• In settings, navigate to the “Apps” or “Application Management” section.
• Search for the app store on the scanner, usually called “Play Store.

• Open the App Store on your iPhone or the Google Play Store on your Android device.
• Tap the search icon (usually a magnifying glass) in the navigation bar.
• Type “Digipas.app Scanner” and tap “Search.

• Scroll through the search results and tap the appropriate app when you find it. Identifiable by the following logo:
• If you have not yet created an Apple ID or Android account, do so before installing the app.
• Make sure there is enough storage space available on your device for the app.

• Tap the “Download” or “Install” button. The button may have different labels depending on the platform.
• Wait for the download to complete. This may take a while, depending on the size of the app and your Internet connection.

In some cases, you have to verify your identity before you can install the app. This can be done by entering your Apple ID password or using your fingerprint or facial scan for authentication.

Once the installation is complete, tap the “Open” button to launch the app. You can also find the app on the home screen or in your device’s app drawer.

• Use the login information you received to access the Digipas web portal.
• Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.
• Tap the “Login” button to access the portal.

• Use your device’s camera to easily scan Digipasses and check their validity.
• Open the app and tap the “Scan” or similar option.
• Point your device’s camera at the Digipas you want to check.
• Wait for the app to scan the Digipas and check its validity.
• You can also check the Digipas in and out using the app, depending on the functionality available.
• Repeat these steps for each Digipas you want to scan or check in and out.

Note: Make sure you have permission to scan Digipasses and check in and out according to applicable rules and regulations.

• In the upper right corner of the app, press the menu icon.
• Tap the “Scan mode: keyboard” option.
• Place the scanner in the pistol grip provided for this purpose.
• Now use the red laser to scan the Digipas instead of using the built-in camera.
• Follow the same steps to switch back to camera mode.
